Hiking

A long trail you can get your thoughts lost on, the changing scenery makes it a constantly scenic walk and having the option to go see the river close up makes this a well rounded trip worth going back to.

Love the Poudre valley trails. This one is easier. It’s peaceful, areas to sit and picnic near the river, good for families. Dog loved getting into the water.

Great easy paved trail with many off-shoot dirt paths down to the river. Quite a few bugs this time of year but not terrible.

This is a must if you’re in Fort Collins just bc it’s so integral to the town! It’s quite clean and well-paved. There are provided poop bags for dogs, lots of bikes and amazing access to a gorgeous, clear, cold river! Can be heavily trafficked. A really special place in Fort Collins to from residential area and old town to a bit of natural paradise.

HikingGreat!

Clean without too much traffic. Great for families and stroller friendly. Bikes comes fast at times, so mind your kids on paved paths. Lots of breathtaking views.

Walking

Walked from the trail head for 2 miles and turned around. Nice shade areas along the trail, all paved, dirt paths to get to the river if wanted. A bit noisy at times due to traffic. Very well maintained. Great for dog walks, biking and running.

Enjoyed the trail, nice views. The running river next to us was nice. Only problem was the amount of mosquitoes. Next time I may wait till later in the day before starting out. We got eaten alive.

Beautiful and very well maintained paved path with plenty of room for passing bikers. There are also plenty of side trials through the wetlands near the Greeley side of the trail.

This is a gorgeous bike path. Long, winding, with some shade, some open sun, and lovely views and wildlife! Flat and easy, so great for all levels. Tons of access points, smooth well maintained pavement, scenic and wonderful! Fort Collins has some of the most functional bike paths I’ve seen in a small city!!!
