Foothills Trail to Dakota Trail is a 1.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Colorado Springs, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

More on the easy side with some slight inclines and declines along the way. Nice trail to get a full panoramic shot of GoG. Also features a few different wildflowers.

wasn't impressed with this trail. I thought it would be more wildlife, nature but no. it's a paved path that follows the main road. We didn't go too far turned around and went hiking somewhere else.
