The trail was closed, not accessible year round and only for military. I am not rating this based on the trail, but rather the poorly worded description on the app. If it is winter or you are not military do not waist your time driving to this trail.

Farish Recreation Area is for military and DOD civilians. The trails are absolutely gorgeous but signs could using improvement so pay attention to your map! We passed a trail connection and walked past it for almost a mile until we turned around and back tracked. We found it but you could hardly tell if the split was the one we were supposed to take. Good for us, it was the right one the second time around! Breath taking views of Pikes Peak beautiful landscapes, boulders, trees and flowers and wind sweet with mountain sage. We went in September and the weather was perfect for crawling around all day. I can't wait to go back!

Farish Recreational Area is for military personnel only :( We drove over for nothing. It's pretty out there and the people that man the shop say there is good fishing.

Kudos to all military out there. THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!!
