Nice nature walk. Pretty vistas of Boulder. We did the simple loop with our dog. $5 to park without Boulder registered vehicle. Little to no elevation change on the loop. Will come back to do the longer piece (ascent) - but a nice, quick, scenic walk.

Great network of trails, you can choose your distance 2,3,5,7 miles. It's VERY sunny, not a lot of shade. Moderately crowded with bikes and hikers. $5 to park unless you're a Boulder resident and limited parking space.

A good trail somewhat diminished by noise from Highway 93 and the Trinity ECS works. Expect to see moderate mountain bike traffic, even on weekdays--though the great majority of these appear on the northern part of the loop. pasque flowers, creeping holly grape, and sand lilies are already in bloom by mid-April. Deer can often be seen on the southern section of the loop.

Could have been 5 stars, but there were no benches.

Tough on the descends with a new acl. The whole no dog leash is bs. Almost knocked over by some dog and the owner said nothing. Heavily traveled trails and no parking.
