Hiked on July 4th. Got there at 8:30 and still found parking. Was a fun hike! Started with McLintlock trail which made the return easier. We also added on the Woods-Quarry Trail for a little more distance which gave us a great view.

Easy, dog-friendly trail full of beautiful wildflowers and bees during spring and summer, or a snowy wooded wonderland during winter. I chose this trail for my family to try as they were visiting from Indiana. They are not very active or comfortable with the altitude, so this was a perfect trail for them. Not to long or short- they got their fix. Elevation in general isn’t much of an issue, nor is elevation gained. There are also other paths you can take to adjust the length of your hike.

Great hike with a steady climb. Loved the different birds and wild flowers! Parking lot filled up quickly - we got one of the last spots at 9:30am on a Wed

We went up McLintock until it ran into Mesa trail, and came back down Enchanted Mesa trail. Gorgeous field of poppies at the beginning of McLintock, and intermittent areas of shade in mid afternoon. Steady climb up, then easy stroll back down the wide smooth path.

Love this trail!! Some shade and beautiful wild flowers all over!! Love the open trees with tall green lush grass! Some people on it but not too crowded! Quick trail to go on. This is one of my top ones so far!

the first half of this trail provides a great workout from the uphill climb, while the second half provides a nice cool down with beautiful views and a slight decline. i lapped the loop 3 times and got some great exercise in today. arrived around 1230 on thursday, 5/21 and it was not too crowded by any means. not sure if there was a free lot to park in, but there was plenty of free street parking available which is where i landed. 5 stars out of 5, this was a nice one

this trail is beautiful, definitely going to have to come back and take the side trails! there were a good number of people when i went and parking is odd, but worth it for those views!

Parts of the trail are a little rocky but nothing crazy. Obviously with a forest trail there are some friendly bugs like bees and butterflies. Really enjoyed this hike and can’t wait to come back and try its little shortcuts and do it in reverse. We’re thinking of bringing hammocks and taking a nap in the trees next time. Super great trail!

Beautiful trail. Highly recommend. Lots of wooded areas. Kid friendly on the Enchanted Trail. There are other trails that branch off. You’ll be glad you checked this one out

Love this trail!!!! Perfectly shaded paths with creeks, wildlife and immaculate scenery. The incline was kinda wild, but nothing that one can’t just brave haha. 10/10

Started at the enchanted Mesa trail and it really is a beautiful little trail like it is out of a fairytale. We went up and around and ended up in a maze full of trails , I didn’t realize they all connected and will be back to explore all of them. Great views and easy to hike.

decided we need to get out for a hike to get outside the house for once. did a full moon hike up the enchanted Mesa trail, and then we bypassed the McClintock one because it looked a little more washed out and hit the Mesa trail on the way back down to Chautauqua. great night for a hike barely saw anyone. almost stumbled upon 3 deer right next to the trail

Muddy at the start , a few areas of ice , trax would help in some areas, but do-able without. Most of the trail was great hikable terrain
