This hike was actually pretty fun. Go far enough and you’ll get some really nice scenery and some great pictures. If you want, you can even get a bit of very low level climbing done as well!

Easy hike with kids (ages 4-7), fun rock formations for them to check out, lots of folks with dogs out and about.

nice trail but you definitely need the map to know which way to go at the many forks

A bit confusing at times but I used the app as our trail map. My kids loved it and we will back!

Fun. Ended up being quicker than we thought (30 min).

Nice up and down trail but like several folks said, not well marked. We parked near bathrooms off of Paseo Road and there's a trail entrance with a little bitty sign that says Edna Mae Bennett Trail on it. The actual Edna Mae trail is only a 1.5 mile loop...the map for this trail on this app adds in another mile along the Templeton Trail...which doesn't make a loop. We hiked along the ridge and it's a one way that leads you to a parking lot and then we came back and met up with the Edna Mae again. Some trail placards are missing from some of the posts, FYI. It really is a pretty little trail and for those not in the best shape, the hardest part is the first part when you are going uphill. Then it evens out and the views are wonderful!

Starts off easy enough to follow. Then the signs on the posts are missing. I ended up crossing trails and ended up quickly in the Yucca flats. So I took the Templeton Trail from there. Then took the Point of Rocks Trail for a bit of a workout and came down the North Canyon Trail back to home base. Made my own loop!

Really nice and easy, nice views of pikes and the city. Cool rock formations. Some people with dogs off leash, but not too many. Nice for a quick 45 minute jaunt.

I am not experienced for one but this is not easy at all .. the most part is difficult to climb and then very steep at points! stay aware at all times. I did feel great about it when I accomplished such a hike! I will do it again but not so soon!!

Nice easy loop with just a bit of uphill and some rocks.

Palmer park is one of my favorite trails to go on. Just be careful when you go on them for the first time because I've kind of gotten lost on them before because there are not too many signs and there are a lot of trails that connect up with each other.

This trail is really quite easy but so beautiful! Right in the heart of the city but you would never know it while you are on any of these trails.

Beautiful area. As others have mentioned, trail is rated as difficult but intermediate is probably a better rating.
Great park!

This is a really cool loop trail. Really fun for kids. Great views of Pikes Peak! Not very difficult but not well marked in all places. We always start the loop going to the left.

Nice trail. It's rated at the site as advanced difficult. I think maybe intermediate is more appropriate. It's not long, but it was fun.

Excellent family hike

This trail is part of the extensive Palmer Park trails. This trail is rated Advanced/difficult. I found it to be a nice 30 min up and down hike. Great views at the top of the hill. To find trail head, start at south entrance and drive all the way until you see the gates of the north entrance. There is a parking lot to your right. The trail starts right begins the bathrooms.
