Went clockwise (Oxen to Eagle to Raven) - which I think I prefer. You get to follow a scenic creek while you're knocking out most of the uphill. The downhill is mostly along an old access road. Distance (4.5 miles) and elevation gain (about 1,000').

Stunning views of interestingly shaped small "mountains" with Pikes Peak on the horizon.

Watch for rattlesnakes in the sunny / "desert" sections. Saw a big one today.

We hiked this trail this past Saturday and loved it! We went counter clockwise around the loop and the beginning was pretty steep but overall it was a great hike! It was beautiful and not crowded!

Wonderful trail! Very soft with pine needles and dirt - few rocks. Enough incline to get the heart pumping, but not strenuous. The views from the top of Eagle's view are truly panoramic. We could see Pike's Peak today. Even on a beautiful Sunday we could find parking and it was not crowded.

Nice hike, 2-hrs or so with great views at the top. Not crowded and no bikes on a Saturday. Dogs enjoyed as well.
