you can't actually Park at this destination Point. Don't follow the directions. you have to park at the North Fork trailhead. that then takes you to the Miller Fork Trail. lots of elevation gain. Beautiful views. No one else on the trail.

First 1 mile kinda boring-the rest gorgeous. The part along creek was gorgeous with rocks and flowers. Up hill after that to lookout -so many aspens. Only saw the dirt bikes-and two hikers.

The trail to Lookout is ok. the first mile is through Aspen forest and is fairly beautiful. After that the trail is moderately rigorous with not too much of a view even at the top of the Mountain, due to surrounding trees. Its not a bad, trail, but the lack of views on the way up is a bit disappointing. Also a couple of dirtbikes legally using the trail, which I dont love in the woods.

Two different ways to get there, via Poudre Canyon or through Pennock Pass. Very pretty area especially in the fall and plenty of beautiful scenery on this hike that runs in and out of the the stream. Not too strenuous just plan for mountain weather, take snacks, and water. :)

A good, long hike with awesome views of surrounding area from the summit. The trail is hard to follow at some points.
