Dominguez Canyon is a 9.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Gateway, Colorado that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and camping and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Waterfall was flowing with the recent rain. You have to jump the creek and down climb a cliff to get a clear view.
It was a beautiful hike! Didn't find the waterfall. If your looking for it you need to go the Delta way not through Gateway!! My dogs loved it!
great hike. nice waterfall not too far in. You can hike for miles if you want though. Saw 3 mountain goats and lots of great views!!
Was VERY disappointed that there was NO waterfall any where near our hiking trail and we hiked 5 miles in. The picture is very deceiving so if your hiking this trail based on its photo, don't. There are beautiful views, however no waterfall.
stunning and fun throughout! so much to see the miles just fly by! my 8 year old stayed in good spirits and entertained for our 8 mile day. We will definitely be doing this hike again!!
Fairly easy trail to hike. Great views. There is a ton of area to explore so a hike can vary in length. The area is home to desert big horn also.
