nice and easy walk/hike for kids and leashed dogs, a loop, too of the hill has a good view of fruita, the monument and alot of the whole valley...plus it has the big white "F" made of white painted rocks for fruita on it, oh yeah almost forgot the whole theme, at various waypoints there plaquest telling you about all the dinosaur bones excavated here, barley a mile round

Anti climactic. Just a dusty hill where they excavated some dinosaur bones in the early 1900's. I would not do again. I guess it's fine if you just want to get out of the car to stretch your legs.

This site is enroute to the north entry into the Colorado National Monument. It is a former archaeological dig. Simple loop. I would not do again, just to minor and little to offer.
