Really did not care for this trail at all. It's about 90% hiking through the scraggly bush you see throughout the hills, which is fine, but the 'views' at the far end of the loop into the canyon were really nothing different or better than what you can see from the pull outs on the road. I would say there is no reason to do this hike, unless you just want to hike. We love hiking, and are used to doing 10+ mile hikes with elevation, but this just really didn't offer any reason to recommend it.

This trail was at the North Rim Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park. Starts as an old access road that leads to some abandoned buildings. Hang a right and the gravel turns into dirt as the real trail begins. I made a loop and didn't go all the way down to Deadhorse Gulch. Not a lot of views but no one else was on the trail in the middle of the day (Exclamation Point & Green Mt. trailhead was packed by noon).
