Bring lots o' water, trail mix/fruit, hat and/or sunscreen if you plan to go mid-summer. Trail running and hiking can be challenging with its rough terrain, and there's almost no shade the entire loop. Lots of fun if you're prepared.

Beautiful views from the top of Dakota Ridge on both sides of the Ridge. The trail is very busy with hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. Only downfall is the highway very close to the trail.
