lovely easy trail. Nice views into the value. saw some birds and chipmunks. quite a few bikers but its nice.

Great easy trail. Added on budd trail at the end. Beautiful fall walk through the aspens. Only annoying part is you can hear road noise and you see houses basically the whole way. Not necessarily isolated. Still a great easy hike through the aspens!

We were a group of adults, younger children and dogs. Trail was poorly marked in some areas but had a great variety of sites - wildflowers, riven and aspen trees. Relaxing but rewarding hike. Highly recommend!

Beautiful wildflowers! Well marked. Quite a lot of traffic on a Friday in July, lots of bicycles, so summer weekends might be crowded. Our dogs were happy to get in the water a bit.

upper trail included Aspen and Columbine grove, descending to Aspen sunflower meadow near intersection with lower loop. Ither flowers mixes in including lots of short asters.

Probably the most beautiful hike I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend doing the full loop. Only downside are the bikers who forced us off the trail every 5 minutes. But still worth it. A bit buggy in spots. But the views are amazing. If you’re in Crested Butte and want to get the full beauty in a short time without going to the extreme this is your trail.

Great for kids. On the lower loop, they have pages of a book every 50 feet or so to keep the little ones going. Great views of the valley.
