First few miles are a long gradual ascent with one nice lookout looking at Mr. Evans. Once you get off the Colorado Trail it is a long descent to Craig Meadows. Didn't catch any trout in the stream at Craig Meadows last weekend, but had it all to myself. No tracks in the couple inches of very hikeable snow.

Not the most scenic trail, but had some a few great vistas and a pretty stream. Best part was the drive in.

This trail seems more like a segment of the Payne Creek Trail as it crosses the Craig Meadows. This was a good hike overall. I took the CO Trail Segment 4 to The Payne Creek Trail down into the meadows.
