We did Coyote to Mule Deer and back to Bootleg Trail Head which makes for a nice 7 mile loop. The first mile on Coyote is pretty challenging with a steady uphill climb and some three point rock climbing before you hit the plateau. Once you reach the top the rest of the hike is fairly easy. Great views at Panorama Point and a perfect spot to stop for lunch. Coyote is pretty quiet most of the time and no bikes are allowed. Mule Deer can get crowded and watch out for bikes. This is a good trail for a quick get away from Denver.
