Cow Creek Trail is a 6.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October.
A great trail for a family day hike. Only moderate elevation gains, an easy trail to follow. It is about 6 miles out and back from the trail head. We took our 7 year old with us and she did well, but it was a touch long for her at the end of the day. One note, the trail head parking fills up very fast. You want to be here relatively early, or you won't have anyplace to park.
It's a relaxing hike through meadows filled with wildflowers!
Amazing hidden trail and off the beaten path, BUT limited parking, so get there early! Great year round hike and be sure to try the trail towards the lumpy ridge loop in addition to bridal veil falls. Amazing!
