Cottonwood Pass Road is a 14.6 mile point-to-point trail located near Gypsum, Colorado that offers scenic views. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for off road driving. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a nice drive and Red Table is an ok hike spot. There is heavy atv/ dirt bike traffic though. Not a good road to tow a trailer longer than about 10' on. The Gypsum side has a very icy hill down heading over to the Garfield county side. There is of course no guard rail or shoulder.

The road goes mostly at the bottom of the canyon and Gypsum Creek
Several good side trails in summer
We saw elk very near the entrance to White River National Forest
