I have hiked this trail many times but have not done it in about twenty years until last week. I have always liked this trail and its views.

We saw very few other people while we hiked it but when we did there was plenty of room for both parties to pass on the trail. The trail has some loose rock and some water ways but they were mostly dry during our hike.

At the top of the trail you can continue on to Lower Columbine Trail or turn back. You can also access Gold Camp Road.

I would highly recommend this trail for a nice hike.
