Colorado Springs Seven Falls

We went in August and there wasn’t a high volume of water in the falls. Might be better in May or June with the snow melt. We went mainly to see the Falls, but being able to hike to Inspiration Point after climbing up the stairs was a nice addition. The view at the Point was of the city, which was just ok. I wouldn’t call It inspiring though

Once you get over the fact that you “had to pay to see Seven Falls” and you’ve mustered the courage to climb 224 stairs, this is a pretty cool trail with a heck of a payoff of a view at the end. It was my first hike on our weekend out here in Colorado Springs and it was definitely taxing but cool and I’m glad I did it.

Had to take a bus to get to the entry and pay $14.50 but once we were there is was beautiful... the stairs were tough but doable. Climbing the stairs right next to and over the falls was breathtaking. The ziplines above looked fun but expensive.

it was neat to see but as reviews say it's very commercialized. However the view at top of inspiration point was great.

It was an over all easy hike. The stairs were what killed me! But everything beyond that was pretty easy! Awesome views over all

The direction takes you to the entry point, but you need to follow the signs in Mesa Ave to the free parking where a shuttle will take to the entrance. Tickets are purchased at the entrance - $14.50 per person. If you don’t want to climb the stairs (stair 1 is about 185 step or so and 2nd stair is 204 steps) there an elevator for a price of $2.50. Once you’re at the top of the falls take a hike to Inspiration point to get beautiful views and even see people Zipline.

Tourist attraction mostly. You have to pay to get in. The waterfall is beautiful though.

Seven Falls would be a good place to go if you are a tourist that isn’t interested in getting off the beaten path, may need assistance with Trams and Elevators or are traveling with kids. There’s a restaurant, a gift shop, parking shuttle, a $14.50 entrance fee and a paved road up to the falls. Stairs lead you to the top, but ruin the scenery. Primary a man made tourist trap.

Needing to take a shuttle makes for long lines to get back! Popular place! A beautifully maintained walk, eagle's nest and waterfall were amazing, watching zip liners high above us was great! Hike at the top was nice, quiet and peaceful away from the bustle of people who didn't climb the stairs.

A unique experience. Navigating all those steps can be challenging, but the trail afterward is pretty tame. And the falls themselves are stunning.

Stairs were solid ice. Bring your spikes.
