off road driving
Beautiful road, light traffic, amazing vistas, railroad tracks, wildlife.
We saw beaver and mule deer in the middle of the afternoon. The signs of wildlife were everywhere. You can also take several side trips off this road. I'll let you know how those are later this spring.
The road is an easy drive, just a little muddy in few places but good base under so no issues at all. So much beautiful scenery, views of the river, lots of deer and wide road so it's easy to pull over to take pictures or just look around. The road passes through private property fairly often so pay attention to signs to avoid trespassing if you stop and hike anywhere.
I'll be going back up the road soon. 1st 17 miles are paved so I'm riding my bike up at least that far next time.
I took a few pictures but will have more as the summer progresses.
