With all tours closed due to Covid we had to just do overlooks. This is one of the best overlooks we saw on our drive.

Did as much as I could do considering the park was closed for tours a few months ago. Guess it's a seasonal thing. Snow on the ground and raods closed so I hiked in the few extra miles to see what I could. From the overlook I got a pretty decent view from above. First time seeing cliff dwellings in person. Can't wait to take the tour and see them sure close up!

best guided trail tour I've been on. The ruins are spectacular!! It really is a little palace, so well preserved and you can walk on the rebuilt portion.

This trail is a tour guided one, so you must check at the welcome center before entering to get a spot! Spots do fill quickly, so I suggest trying to get there before 11AM! Totally worth the beautiful sight, but do be respectful of it!

Of course this was an amazing Ranger guided tour. Lots of information and sites to behold. Since this is a hiking app, I am sure that everybody is able to walk down the stairs and climb some ladders. Just know that they are there. We took the early 9 AM tour and it was perfect. I am sure during the summer months it gets hot early. Have fun, enjoy, discover.

This guided tour is so worth it. 1-hour tour, with a hike down to the site and out through a series of stairs and ladders. Pretty sunny in the afternoon.

We took the last tour of the day, and you get your money's worth because our tour ran about 15 minutes long. Great education about the area and enlightening to see it up close. I don't do well with heights, but the ladder climbs are mostly enclosed by rocks, so it wasn't too bad.

Must do tour! Some ladder climbs, but nothing strenuous, our ranger was very knowledgeable, loved the history.

Cliff Palace is amazing to behold and lives up to it's name! Only complaint was that our park ranger had little knowledge about the area and was unable to answer most of the questions asked. Our guides for the other tours were all phenomenal.

Short climb down to Cliff Palace. Great view of the house. There is an overlook right before the ranger brings you through the gate that lets you see the palace from above.

Really cool sight to see. The NPS warned us about the ladders and the heat, but it was a walk in the park, literally. Just remember to get tickets at the visitor center and you’ll be well rewarded.

Ranger-led hike. Did reservations online and you can do them in person at the visitor center. The ladder wasn't tough, just felt like a while because of the full tour group.

WARNING! You need to purchase a ticket at the main visitors center to access this trail. Which you wouldn’t know unless you stopped at there on the way in and talked to a ranger. If you (like me) skip the visitors center and go straight for trails you would never know. There are no signs or information leading into the park to let you know this. We drove 27 miles to the trailhead just to be told “sorry but you are not allowed access to this trail without tickets, please drive 54 miles round trip to go get them). Which we were willing to do but by the time we made it back to the visitors center they were sold out of “tickets” till late in the afternoon (this was at 8:15am). If you’re not there by 7am don’t waste your times Tickets to go hiking? Never heard of this in my life. Terrible experience.
