Wonderfull drive. Met lots of great people on the trail. Four passes (peaks) on this trail. Beautiful views. Some parts are difficult (moderate) but passable with a four-wheel-drive pickup truck.

Incredible views the whole way! Road gets very narrow in places and there are some very sharp and steep switchbacks which are difficult to tell if vehicles are coming the other direction but generally quite a few places to pass. Definitely will need a reasonably high clearance vehicle with 4 wheel drive. My Jeep Renegade made it just fine. Road is open the whole way and very busy even on week days.
