Cherry Creek Trail: Hungarian Freedom Park to Commons Park is a 6.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Denver, Colorado that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, nature trips, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Great weekend trail. Be cautious of slow moving traffic though on this trail.
very easy hike next to river. very heavy traffic cause its downtown trail.
Spent most of the time on Cherry Creek Trail. one of the best urban trails I've been on.
I drive by around this area almost everyday for work and was curious about this trail but known as lots of homeless people. Since the 4 start trail, I wanted to try. I have a mix feeling about this trail as this was a cool city paved trail with a ton of runners and bikers but it smells gross under the bridges and some parts were not very present view. Parking will be a street parking and find good time and area to find a spot to park since where it starts is a residential area. 05/25/202 #22
Not walking friendly at all. Bicycles are constantly speeding past and nearly hit my dog multiple times so we got off the trail to find somewhere else. There aren’t any designated walking vs biking lanes. This pathway is much better suited to biking enthusiasts.
