Chautauqua Trail is a 1.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Boulder, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This trail basically serves as the first "in-trail" that leads to many other popular hikes in the park such as the Flat Irons and Royal Arch. It is wide, well traveled, and slightly inclined, with valley (Boulder CO) vistas, wild flowers, and great upward views of the jagged Flat Irons.

Amazing above the fog views today! Apparently all trails quit mid way through my hike so it lost the full distance
This was a really awesome hike we set out an hour before sunrise unfortunately we missed it by only about 10 minutes. There was no ice to say on the the trail only in patches probably don’t need spikes right now we hit it off January 31, 2021
it is an awesome experience, you will love it, amazing view perfect to take pictures... ENJOY!!!
Shady parts were snow packed and going down flatirons was slippery. Bluebell was nice
