Tried a nearby trail but had to detour to this one due to extensive ice, made even slicker by the warming weather. Turned out to be a great decision. Moderately difficult but not overly so. Muddy in a few spots, a few short icy spots but totally doable. A few pretty views and some nice variety of shade, scenery, etc. Great family hike - we’d definitely do it again!
