Jan 13th trial was in spots: icey, snow covered, muddy and dry. Bring your boots and walking sticks.

Nice trail among boulders above stream. Continued on to dam to another 1.6 miles. Slick in a few spots

Easy to access, great for kids and dogs on leashes. Plenty of ways to get down to the water. $9 a car to enter the park, pay station takes cards then spits out receipt to place on your dash. Will be back to do the cave trail

was a bit crowded but it was a good hike. was the first real hike for my kids and they were exhausted by the time we reached the dam ruins. we cooled off in the creek before heading back.

The trail I'd give a 1 and the creek, I'd give a 5. My almost 2 year old grandson had a blast in the water. The trail was dusty and it didn't help that there were fires in the mountains and it was smokey. We'll try the trail another time we are in the state.

Nice easy trail. Mix of sun and shade. Not much of a waterfall, still nice to look at though :) Great for families. Parking can be limited. $9/day without annual state park pass.

Super easy trail with great views. Kids liked taking a break off trail and scrambling over the rocks along the stream!

Great trail. It has some shade. Be careful as there are many snakes active in this trail. I have seen rattlesnakes and other types.

Nice shaded trail. Lots of places to step off the trail for a minute if needed or sit and rest. Recommended!

This is a beautiful, short hike that is mostly tree covered. The shady walk makes this a pleasant trek, even in the heat of the mid-day summer. There is even access to the water its self near the waterfall! It IS in a state park, so there is a small fee to enter the park.
