Gorgeous trail with good scenery and beautiful landscape. The Walker house ruins were interesting as well. Go all the way out to Devils Thumb and the landscape changes considerably. It also gives you great views over the city.

This is one of my favorite spots, specifically during the week when there is less traffic. It's a little busy on weekends.

Meadow Trail was great for adults & kids, 7 & 5. Went on Father’s Day, with moderate to heavy traffic. Good parking. Great vista views & pretty wildflowers.

Have done this twice and really like for an easy take the outta towners to. Easy and beautiful with meadow trail and trail thru pines and rocks. Fantastic views all directions depending on where you are.

This is one of my favorite parks to hike. There are a lot of trail options so you don’t have to repeat the same ones. The meadow trail is great for families. The extra Devil’s Elbow adds a bit of incline and has a great view at the end! Come early, lots of people even for a weekday. Right now it’s still snowy and icy in spots, my yaktrax were definitely helpful.
