Fun hike for the whole family. The views were amazing. Foot traffic was low when we were out there also! There is about a 4 mile rocky, dirt road that you take to access the trail so a 4wd vehicle would be a good idea.

Great area to follow streams and get lost in the woods

need 4WD to make it to the start of the trail. I had a small sedan so i parked a couple miles short of the trail and walked up the road

Fine for beginners, or leisure hikers looking for a low commitment hike that feels a bit off the beaten path. Some nice views of Eldora, James Peak, etc.

Absolutely amazing camping ground. Up the hill from my spot I found a charming waterfall, creek and meadow. The terrain, flowers, view...just breath-taking
