Great area to follow streams and get lost in the woods

need 4WD to make it to the start of the trail. I had a small sedan so i parked a couple miles short of the trail and walked up the road

Fine for beginners, or leisure hikers looking for a low commitment hike that feels a bit off the beaten path. Some nice views of Eldora, James Peak, etc.

Excellent trail. Great challenge for mid-season hike.
