This is really more of a walk than a hike, but if you are looking for something easy to do with young kids while still having pretty views it great! We will go back to picnic for sure.

This is a great little hike no matter how young your kids are. We did this with my 4 yr old and 3 yr old. It's really just a walk being completely paved but fun being somewhat surrounded by Colorado prairie. Quite a few little lookouts over the canyon. We started right near the entrance to the park and went along until we were at the end of the other parking lot where there are public restrooms. We then kept to just off the paved road and made it back to the car.

Upsides: Simple enough for the whole family. Neat views of the canyon.
Downsides: Nearly too easy and really just a walk in the park.

This was the perfect trail for a 6 month pregnant woman and friend to do to get out of the house and enjoy nature.

This is basically a sidewalk running past the initial parking and picnic areas of this park. There are several overlooks, lots of plant life, and it's super easy if you have kids or people who wouldn't normally be able to access a hike. With that said, it's well worth it to continue on past this part for the real views and hiking.
