Very nice, easy trail in Colorado National Monument with 360 degree views. Would not recommend in summer as it is very exposed.

Amazing scenery. Really hard to stay on the trail, because throughout most of the hike it's really hard to tell where the trail is. Super fun, easy, low key. Probably not great for kids due to close proximity to cliff's edge. 15 year old's rating: 2 triple finger snaps and 1 singular snap - would go again. This hike slaps.

Loved it

Did this short hike on 9/27/2019. Great views! Not much elevation change. Nice hike if you don’t have time for a longer hike!

Easy trail with Gorgeous views! You can get pretty close to the edge while walking across all the rocks so be careful. Definitely therapeutic, if you just want to clear your head. I went off trail and stopped to take lots of pictures. The kids will love it!

This was an easy, fun hike from The Visitors Center to Window Rock. Saw seniors and kids and photographers all enjoying the spectacular views and cliffhanger “wow” vistas. Lots of photos ops and changing panoramic scenes. One note of caution: The trail has a mind of its own and,if hiking with young kids, the edges can come up quickly. This is definitely a no-running path/ keep everyone in eyesight trip:) Worth every step!

This was an easy out and back hike with beautiful scenery. Hiked it in mid May and temperatures were perfect. 73 degrees and sunny. Very family friendly but not so much as to not supervise your children. There are many places for an accidental fall so I would keep your kids at arms length and between you and the edge. $10 per person fee at the ranger station but gives you access all week. The campgrounds are nice but a little tight.

An okay trail. Window rock has been viewpoints that from right on top of it though. Not well marked.

It was slightly drizzling the day I went to this awesome National Monument so I didn't want to do anything too strenuous. It was a very easy hike that's well marked. Going up to the rim reminded me of the Grand Canyon, just without thousands of people (although it was Free National Park/Monument day so it was still relatively busy). The trail starts just behind the visitor center so there is an ample amount of parking.

Nice terrain and some good views. You get to the trail by walking directly out of the back door of the visitors center. Not difficult by any means, but I felt the path was a little unclear. Not as many markers to keep you in the right direction like many of the other trails at the national monument.

Beautiful and easily accessible hike from the Visitors center. We even went a little off the “beaten path” and really enjoyed our time :)

Easy hike. Very close to under the shelter, walk on the rock that juts out and it will give you the best view we found of Window Rock.
