Nice views on this easy walk. Hot in the summer with little shade so bring water.

I last hiked this trail in 2015.

Alcove is a staple trail whenever my son and I visit COLM. It takes little time to complete and offers (almost) the full spectrum of flora and fauna you can expect at the park. Lots of shade too. Best of all, it's so close to the visitor center.

This is perfect for little kids!

These combined three short trails offer scenic views of the canyons which should be doable by most anyone. It is not ADA accessible. If short on time at least do these when visiting the visitor center.
