Easy trail with stunning views, but a bit hard to follow the official path. Didn't seem very well marked, but it wasn't a problem as the whole area was fine for exploring. 3 large bighorn sheep ran right by me!

Nice short trail with good overlooks into Monument Canyon. The trail gets lost in some sections, but there are plenty of path clearings to continue following the rim of the canyon. The parking lot also serves the visitor center, so there is plenty of parking and restrooms.

Really nice hike along the canyon rim. There is not really a marked trail, so it’s possible to get your own personal viewpoint. It’s not possible to get lost. Easy terrain.

Great little hike with lots of amazing views of the Independence Monument. The trail sometimes is not clear but it is not a problem. Nice view at the end at the window overlook.

May 2019 trip to Southwest, fourth visit to CO, last time was only year ago in summer. Day 10 Was in Grand Junction already 22 years ago. Now first time at monument (Main Goal#11 of trip). Great hike with amazing views on few popular monument rock formations or Grand Junction Valley. At Window Rock you cannot see the rock, unless you move away. From distance is visible small rocky opening beneath overlook.

Super easy, touristy trail. Full of big views...wedding canyon, independence monument, kissing couple, praying hands. It’s all open, no shade, some loose rock. If you are sun sensitive like I am, wear a wide brimmed hat/visor. There’s a really cool spot to sit and contemplate, Bookshelf Shelter.

Great trail and kid friendly. We had littles and just held their hands since one side is a cliff. They enjoyed jumping off the rocks and there was a nice breeze.
