This hike is especially worth for the breathtaking panorama from the summit. The path crosses ski slopes and is not very interesting.

You get to rest at top on picknic tables enjoying a view of maroon bells etc then walk further 3/4 miles up a path for an even better view. A lot of sun. bring water. On decent stick to main service road bc the left side, as you descend, has a ski lift that makes you think its ok to short cut but thats a baddddd mistake. its private land and you must u turn up... ouch

Hiked straight up tiehack to make it more challenging. The views at the peak are beautiful and the hike around the backcountry of the mountain is fun.

Easy trail to hike with an awesome view of maroon bells. Highly suggest hiking past the marked trial. If you take the back country trail you will be rewarded with even better views of the mountains.

Great views, but pretty dull walking across ski fields! Probably good for fitness training.

For the sea level dwellers, this is a hard hike! The terrain is easy to traverse however the elevation presents some difficulty. All in all take your time, the view is worth the breathlessness!

Not technically hard, but climbing straight up the side of a ski area isn't exactly easy either, especially at 8000 feet. The views were totally worth it though. We went the first weekend in October so the foliage was perfect

It was a beautiful walk thanks to Aspen, trial is kind of confusing and seemed pretty uphill. It was our second day on a run or we hoped for something easy. It was pretty muddy, gorgeous and confusing.

Great view of pyramid peak from the top. Pretty cool to sit on the chair lifts in the summer time too but be prepared for a full incline hike with switchbacks most of the way.
