Great trail! It’s away from most of the touristy spots, I only met one other set of hikers this morning. Exactly what I needed as a person from Illinois trying to start out with an easy trail to get acclimated to this altitude, while still getting out in nature alone!

Very easy, kid friendly and marked well. Just watch the horse apples.

Away from red rocks and away from crowds, it's a moderate trail with beautiful views of Pike's Peak at many points.
