Had no warning of the terrible road and ended up putting a hole in my oil tank. Had to get my car towed and replace the oil tank, ended up costing an extra 500 and leaving us without transportation on our vacation.

You need a high clearance 4wd to get to the trailhead. We drove up to 1.7 mi from the trailhead in our Suburu Outback and had to turn around when we came upon a deep water trap across the road!
