This is a fun trail to go on with kids. No climbing involved and is very easy relaxed hike. We found wild garlic growing and this trail is awesome if you start at the North Boulder Recreation Center and circle all the way back. There are places to dip your toes in the water but we need to come when the sun is up otherwise it can get cold

Very pretty. Easy hike. Would be very enjoyable with a bike. Lots of pretty flowers. Bring bug spray. Lots of mosquitos and biting bugs. I was not prepared.

This is a nice flat trail, good for an easy-going hike or trail run. Some of the nice features of this trail include easy access to South Boulder Creek along most of the trail, views of the Flatirons, and wildflowers in the summer. On a Sunday afternoon on a nice summer day, it wasn't terribly crowded. A couple of remarks about the trail's description - I would say that it doesn't really feature a lake, the Baseline Reservoir is not easily viewed, although there are a couple of small ponds near the East Boulder Community Center. Secondly, this is mostly an out and back trail, the only loop is around the Community Center ponds.

I've only used the bike trails but it's a good time. If I'm bored on a Saturday afternoon it's a good way to work up a sweat by biking on the trails.

This is a really nice trail if you're looking for a relaxing walk or hike. Paved and gravel paths are often used by cyclists, but a dirt path runs along a creek for walkers and trail runners. It's a popular trail for families with young kids or people with their dogs, but it never feels overly crowded. In spite of being on the east side of town, you still get nice views of the Flatirons along the way. The parking lot on Baseline is pretty small and fills up quickly, but if you park at the East Boulder Rec/Community Center, you can connect to the Bobolink Trail.

Tons of off leash dogs. Pretty trail otherwise.

Lovely trail, but the mosquitos are aggressive. There were times when I had more than 10 swarming around me!

Great trail! Has a beautiful view of the flatirons and a creek running along the entire trail for your dogs to cool off on a hot day. They have trash stations through out the trail so you’re not carrying poop bags for too long. Very dog friendly!! My only complaint is that this parking lot is pretty small and space fills up quick. I go in the middle of the day through the week. If there’s no space there’s always dry creek trail a few minutes up the road!

Lovely open areas

Simple flat trail along a creek. Near busy roads so you can hear car noise, but a pretty nice easy getaway for a nearly in-town walk.

Very well maintained easy trail. As we share the trail with bikes at certain points, it would be really helpful if a bicyclist can yell heads-up so that we can get out of its way.

Great wide open paths along the creek with beautiful openings in the trees along the water revealing flatirons in the background.

This is a great hike to do with the kiddos. Views of the flatirons, a flat, paved path, places to play along the creek.

Mostly paved with easy gravel areas, a beautiful view and not too busy for a Saturday (on CU graduation and Mother's Day weekend, no less!) A lot of options for directions to take to make it longer or shorter.

This trail outline takes you around a community center and an off-leash dog park so if you have a dog that's a nice option but otherwise not much to this.

Great trail for nature lovers and birdwatchers, as it's on a creek and has a lot of biodiversity. It's easy as can be, so not necessarily for walkers wanting to huff and puff ~ but if you enjoy gurgling creeks, a huge array of birds (many flyovers from the lake nearby as well, and meadowlarks in the field), frogs aplenty, and interesting plants and trees, you'll enjoy this easy stroll. Do watch out for biting bugs in the summer though!

Not a bad trail. I went to the trail on a September afternoon. I accidentally wandered off on to the South Boulder Creek Trail for a few miles before realizing I didn't take the turn to the west for the Bobolink Trail. Ended up doing about 7 miles by the time I returned. It was a pleasant walk. Semi-near 36, so you get some car noise, but nice enough without having to go too far out of town. LOTS of dogs when I went and portions of the trail are leash-free areas where the dogs will roam free.

Nice flat trail. Lots of great stops along the way to dip your feet in or sit by a clear, crisp stream. Eye fulls of beautiful wild flowers, the sweet smell of leaves, and singing birds and insects the entire way. Great place.

Nice and flat with plenty of creek access for the dogs. Enjoyable little stroll very much on the low key side.

This was a nice relaxing hike. With wonderful view of the flatiron mountains. The water was nice and cold. Which the dogs had a field day splashing around. This is my favorite trail.

Really great leisurely walk type of trail with paved and dirt routes along a creek. Nice views along the way. Busy but not too busy. Definitely recommend for a quick, easily accessible walk close to town.
