Bible Point Loop is a 2.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Estes Park, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and nature trips and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Walked this trail Feb 21. As others have said, the first half is good (trail up to Bible point), while the second half is just a walk, sometimes on roads, through YMCA campus. Recommend just doing the out-and-back to Bible Point instead of this loop. Wore micro spikes, but they were not necessary.
The first half of the trail was marked well and very interesting. Second half was not very well marked. Lost internet connections a few times. Not a real clear loop trail but nice hike!
The trail was nice and had good views. It was snowy which made for a couple slippery spots. The way down is mostly through a populated area with a bunch of cabins and roads. That wasn’t my favorite part. It was cool to see the disc golf course and dog park there though.
Pay attention to where the map shows you to turn when you get down by the cabins. If you keep following the orange. markers you will wind up doing a much longer trek. Not the prettiest trail I've ever been on but the views from the top are very good. Plus if you early you have it to yourself. There was quite a crowd when we left at 930am.
Nice view! Hard to get to as the map on here is fairly confusing. Anyone who wants to start this should start at Jackson Stables and follow the markings rather then the map to the trail here. From there it’s a fairly steep ascent to the top and a nice long slope to loop back around. In places the trail isn’t very clear marked so be careful! Overall good views!
Great trail overall! Awesome views from the peak- a long gradual incline that we took lots of breaks along but very rewarding once you get to the top. Map is totally wrong but if you enter the YMCA and pull into the parking lot directly to your left, you can see a map of the trails. We thought we were doing this shorter hike when we actually ended up doing 5-6 miles following the orange trail tags.
Fun trail. Good for dogs. Went off the original route slightly. The trail markers are slightly deceiving. Ended up being about 4.5 miles. Lots of people and horses.
The trail was beautiful with great views, but there was to much snow the day we went so we couldn't go all the way around. This was a great alternative to Estes that we could take our dogs to.
