Nice serene little walk. The creek made lovely sounds that helped you forget you weren’t completely out of civilization. Great for dogs, pretty muddy and some ice but with the right shoes, not an issue. Will come again.

Great trail for dogs!!

really good nature hike that isn't too far from the city.

This is my favorite walk in Lakewood. It’s not very long but has lakes, a river, lush trees and scrubby bushes, and a spot to see prairie dogs.

Nice paved path, lots of bikes, periodic shade. Stone house with a lovely garden.

Beautiful day to get the dogs out! First time on trail and you have to watch...lots of ways to get off the trail shown on the map above. Although, it’s just a beautiful area so I enjoyed exploring the different paths and connecting back to the main path. The whole recreation area was well maintained. Lots of people and other dogs.
