This trail is awesome. Some great cardio. Was challenging with a baby and a pack, but still highly recommend. Will be back! The trail can be quite challenging to follow. I highly recommend not just using this app, but zooming in while on the trail, and there is a couple of weird spots that send you in the wrong direction.

The trail has no markers and there are so many twist and turns that it’s very easy to get lost.

Both the ascent and descent are going to give you a workout. If you have bad knees, this might not be for you. We went clockwise, but you'll feel it either way. There were some off-trails, so check you map if you want to stay on the right one. The views are pretty good. Saw only one or two people. Parked by the dumpsters on the left and walked 100-200ft to the trailhead that was not marked, but visible.

Good trail if you’re trying to get away from the crowds. Only saw two other people the entire time. The way up is a good incline but the views at the top are worth it.

Parking lot is at the dumpsters. The trail is not very well marked. Trail starts in the washout to the right of the sign (not thru the posts). When you get to the split to start the loop part, if you go left the trail gets Very steep going up. If you go right the trail is Very steep going down hill. We went left and did the up hill, glad we did because I would have slid most the way down. There are alot of side trails and gets a bit confusing (nothing is marked), but kept Alltrails pulled up and it kept us mostly on track. The views are beautiful and worth tuffing it out for.

No decent parking. The incline and descent are killer on the knees because of the large amount of loose rocks. Plenty of intersecting trails, but it's easy enough to find you're way.

This incline is no joke, but the effort is so worth it. Hiked 4/18/20 and the trail was mostly clear of ice and snow. A little muddy in places but no traction needed. Would recommend going clockwise. The descent going the opposite way was so steep and gravelly, the trail is virtually nonexistent and hard to keep footing.

This is a pretty decent uphill climb. Trail is easy to lose as many other trails meet up with it. Overall, fantastic escape. Not a lot of people at all.

Great hike, pretty real climb! View is worth it.

This was a decent little hike. There are multiple, small intersecting trails that make some parts a little confusing in terms of staying on the trail.

Loved the views and climb! A little steep on the descent at parts. Not much mud or ice. We came back to our car being vandalized with “no parking” written all over it. There were no signs that said no parking and there were other cars there as well. The trailhead doesn’t seem like a trailhead and the locals are not friendly to people being on their road....

Some parts of this hike were difficult and steep. It is gravel for the majority of the hike. Beautiful views of Pikes Peak. Really enjoyable just be prepared for the steepness.

Good trail with great views. However has mostly steel grades with very few flat spots. Also the trail is not marked what so ever except for the beginning. Constantly checking the map to make sure we were on the correct trail since a lot of trails branch off this trail.

Hiked this trail over the weekend and had a bit of a tough time. Wasn't able to complete the loop once you reached the summit. The trail was very icy and snow packed. Would recommend it as an out and back but it did had very beautiful views.
