Very nice trail. The TH is easily seen. We stared CClockwise and it was awesome. A few trails cross cross but they are all very well marked. Amazing views of snow topped peaks and lots of pines. Easily able to see the town as well. Some points where traffic could be heard, but otherwise a very relaxing hike. Loved the aspen groves. Gotta return in the fall.

Trail was good but definitely some parts were heavy with snow. 75% was snowy and about 20% near waist deep snow. Would definitely recommend this one in the fall with all the beautiful aspens!! Still had a fun hike.

Was expecting more for the Aspen Alley section. coming from Boulder, didn't feel it was worth the drive when there are other spots that are more fun/scenic within the same distance.

We went counter clockwise & had a hard time following the trail. There we quite a few mountain bikers, but they announced themselves & we quickly got out of the way. The whole trail is not covered in aspens, but there are sections of beautiful yellow groves! Enjoy the fall colors.

Hiked 10/5/19 - Aspens are about 70-80% full of leaves still. Gorgeous, bright yellow colors abound. Trails are moderately well marked but heavily trafficked by mountain bikers.

Great hike for the family! Went off trail often but easily popped back on. Saw a moose...two!

Beautiful hike, good spot to get out and see some aspens and fall colors while only being 30 minutes outside of Boulder! Will say that the map provided on AllTrails doesn't really match up with actual marked trails, but otherwise very well maintained and still easy to get around. Did this during sunset and it was beautiful and quiet!

Did this one with a group and two dogs bright an early Saturday morning, the leaves are all changing and it was gorgeous! Didn’t do this exact trail as there are many different routes you can take but it is an easy walking trail. Started hike at 8 and our group was the only one at the trail head when we finished around 10 (took lots of pictures so took our time) the parking lot and road was full of cars. Pretty foggy morning though so didn’t get much Mountain View’s but the trees changing seasons were insane!

Nice trail system! Very easy hikes with nice views and plenty of beautiful aspens. The trails are not very well marked and the maps are not up to date since they are adding several trails right now so it is easy to get a little lost if you’re not paying attention. There were hardly any people either which was great! Overall I enjoyed it and will be going back when I’m looking for an easy hike.

This trail was on the worst map. So many "old" or "closed" trails, but the view was beautiful. It was surrounded by lots of Aspen trees. Lots of bikers and I'd say this is more fun for bike riding than a hike. Enough parking spot left at 10:45 am and 12pm. #47 09/15/2019

Awesome trail for non-hikers/in shape people. Great views. Found a pair of Maui Jim shades on the trail and left at trailhead...

Some nice views and lots of wild flowers, but not much shade. Not a lot of traffic even on a weekend. Would have been a 4 if we had been on our mountain bikes!

I would recommend using All Trail to find your way around. There are lots of Forest Service trails, but nothing marked as Aspen Alley. Beautiful views, and not many people. I took one star because you can hear traffic on most of the hike.

April is not the best time of the year to go. Still snow on the majority of the trail.

The views about a mile into this hike are very rewarding! Went hiking in late February, and the trail was perfect.

Great beautiful snow covered trail! We hoped to snowshoe but there wasn’t even enough snow for crampons. Though the full area was covered in snow but all the trails were trekked out and easy to follow. My sister who’s a mountain biker said it would be perfect for a fat bike ride! But we enjoyed it hiking with the dogs. We walked the interweaving trails for 4 miles and it was pretty easy, with easy rolling hills. If you don’t have the map it might be easy to get lost since there are so many connecting trails. Will come back to this area for sure, possibly to trail run! On a Wednesday afternoon we only saw 2 other people (both with dogs too!)

There's aspen here, so of course early fall is the time to go!

beautiful trail with wildflowers, hummingbirds and Aspen trees everywhere. I enjoy exploring the different rocks in different states and this trail has some good ones. It was difficult to stay on the trail as there are no signs for this specific trail and there are multiple trails that criss cross frequently. They have numbers posted for the trails but that didn't help me. The All Trails tracking was very helpful for us. Some good hills to get your heart pumping, and great views. I took 1 star for the confusion. i think fall would be the best time to hike this trail for the foliage.

Nothing in these maps matches reality. Also, sings are torn down and trails are torn up.

Nice if you are biking. Lots of trees down, with lots of open space. A few decent views. Some nice spots and some not so nice.

Condition of trail - moderately maintained. Poor signage. Had to use AllTrails tracking which was very helpful.Took the full trail as shown in picture including both loops. Great vistas in the first loop and densely packed with aspens in second loop. Should be great in the fall. Took us about an hour and a half.
