Beautiful trails. Something for everyone! Go early, parking lots get full as per usual

Parking lot was very very crowded, but once we got on the trail it was very nice. When we 1st started out there a few mountain bikers but the went away later on. Was with a group, and we had a really good time a social distancing was not too much of a problem.

SO MANY BIKES. Gorgeous trail so I can’t blame them for biking it, but seriously had to step off the trail every 1-3 min on some stretches for them to pass.

Great day hike with scenic views of both rocky scrubland and big meadows, as well as some genuine pine forest. Not very difficult, but will provide a workout if you take the whole loop and keep up your pace. No snow/ice as of today, easy conditions. Decent # of bikes out but easy to avoid on most of the trail. This is a great trail to maintain your stamina if you're experienced, and also a great one to take new hikers and out of towners. I was able to park at 10:30AM, but I got lucky. Get there before 9.

We hiked this loop on Sat 5/2/20, started at 6:30am to avoid the crowds. No problem parking at the East Trailhead at that hour. It was foggy/misty and rained in spots and we still passed a zillion hikers and bikers. So not a great trail for social distancing. But SO beautiful. A nice mix of terrain. The loop highlighted in this trail description is a combo of several trails not just the Three Sisters Trail. 7.5 miles per our GPS. We saw our first Albert’s squirrel - a big one - when we started the trail. That was a treat.

Hiked on Sunday 5/3/20 starting at 8:00AM. Parking lot was full with 2-4 cars parked on the road. Some parts had small puddles, but overall a very dry trail. I would say 10-20% of people were wearing masks and a LOT of mountain bikers, so use caution. Overall an excellent hike and would highly would recommend!

5/2/2020 got to the east side trailhead around 7:30 with still some parking spots left. Did the entire loop that was more 7.7 miles then 6.7 miles. Some spots were muddier then others and lots of fog this morning but cleared up on our way down around 10ish. Overall a pretty steady gradual hike!

went hiking 5/1, got there around 3pm. parking lot full. lots of bikers on the path, not super crowded, the scenic point that's not on the highlighted path is worth the extra walk.

Tuesday 4/28 Gorgeous day out!!! Parked at 8 with only a few cars at the trailhead and there was pretty significant overflow by the time I left. People were generally good with masks/distance. Seems like the trail is mainly used for mountain biking as I only saw a handful of other hikers. Trail was completely dry, but there was still small pockets of snow alongside it for the dog to eat.

Great trail with views of Evergreen at the top. Beautiful open space by the Alderfer farm house. Trail was 99% dry as of 4/28/20. I would recommend getting here early because it does get packed.

Nicely designed trail and views are wonderful. Saw deer, chipmunks, chickadees and finches. Great morning with my daughter. By the time we finished the parking lot was full, go early for less people.

Pretty easy trail, we did the full loop (7ish miles). Didn’t hit any ice and only one snow patch that was mud mixed so should be gone soon. Def crowded on a sat am though, rangers were out policing the amount of traffic.

Very pretty; however extremely crowded (went on a Saturday). More easy than moderate. No ice or mud.

Most of this loop is nothing special to be honest. Nice flat trail with gradual elevation gain when there is any. The top is worthwhile. Overall an enjoybale walk and quite easy.

A bit snowy in spots but no ice. A tad muddy. Gradual incline. You're in the trees pretty much the whole time. Overall, this is a nice trail that I'd like to do again this summer.
