Very doable hike during winter. Water fall & streams were beautiful frozen. Took my 12,7&4yo. Only saw a few other people.

I did this short hike in the snow on 11/4/18. It was pretty and peaceful - a perfect winter hike. We decided to go further, maybe another mile and a half. The hike kept getting prettier. I wouldn’t do this hike in the summer as it probably gets too crowded, but I am looking forward to hiking to Spirit Lake on this trail in spring or early fall.

Simple hike but absolutely gorgeous views of the Rockies and a nice stream/waterfall. Trail is well kept and would totally do this again given the opportunity.

Great trail. Easy to get to (even with detour) and we hiked to top of the falls and saw another hiker swim in the river!

Cute short easy trail with a little waterfall at the end. Great for families!

Great views but should not be marked as "Easy". Most of this trail is uphill, some parts smooth, some rocky and some stairs so the elderly or folks with disabilities are likely to struggle on this.

Nice little hike to stretch your legs, after riding in the car FOREVER, before getting to your real hiking destination inside Rocky. Love visiting this little spot. Gets pretty toasty in the summer time. Watch your footing on the slippery rocks near the falls and the loose gravel along the way.

Our family of 15 includes 8 kids under 10. We loved this easy hike that included a nice waterfall 0.3 Miles in and a stream they waded in for 1/2 hour. We could’ve gone further but enjoyed the first stretch. It was perfect for our family.

Easy hike, go early and have trail to yourself and get to meadows beyond the Falls to see the wildlife.

The Falls were beautiful, easy hike up to the Falls. We then continued on for another mile or so, the meadows and river were really nice, with mountain views. We saw moose as well, so be on the lookout for them.

We did this as the last hike of the day after we drove trail ridge road from Estes Park to grand lake. Actually not on trail ridge road but not too far off (15 min). It was a beautiful waterfall and was an excellent cap to great day seeing the Rockies. Definitely the highlight of the day. Easy trail with plenty of parking on Sunday night July 8th at 5pm. Definitely a rocky trail so boots or at least shoes would keep you comfortable hiking this one.

Little work, big payoff.

You are able to get to the falls within about 20 minutes. It’s a busy trail, but if you continue past the falls, there is gorgeous landscape and becomes less busy.

This is a great little hike just outside of Grand Lake. We had our 3 young children and they made it to the falls without issues. You can continue on for more spectacular views from the falls. You also get great views of Grand Lake from parts of the trail as well.
