HikingBugsOver grown

Living in the city and having gone much shorter distances for a gorgeous hike, I decided to venture out more. I enjoyed trying something new but this hike was not worth the extra drive. Pros, it’s a good workout with it being so steep. Feeling it in my glutes! Beautiful view behind you when you arrive and head up the trail. Cons, there’s nothing else exciting about it beside the same view you saw when you arrived. There’s a steep point about 2.5 miles up that’s so terribly unsafe they should really put some plank step in. The path is so tiny & narrow and the overgrowth will be scratching all over your shins, shoulders, etc. I’ve been on much more stimulating hikes closer to the city. I won’t go out of my way to do this hike a second time.

This was a beautiful trail with stunning views, lots of green, and colorful wildflowers along the trail. Definitely for advanced hikers, as there is a significant elevation gain. But it was a great workout and really beautiful.
