Great short hike. We didn’t know it was up hill, but it was a great little surprise.

Starts off a little steep but it's a short trail so very doable. Great for a quick workout!

This trail is a nice little workout. Not too longer, but more like 1.5 miles than 1.1. It starts out with a nice climb, steep but short then it winds alongside the hillside. It doesn't climb to the top, it runs down and dumps out at the Wren Canyon trailhead, along the spillway and the spreading grounds near GMR, not a scenic destination, but at least you have an excuse to climb up in both directions so it's a better workout.
Bring big spray.
It has a couple of steep climbs but not too much elevation. I rated it moderate, if I can do it anyone can do it.
