Beautiful! Passes through a few different types of scenery and vegetation. The end of the trail is amazing. Very flat but the sand makes it a bit more strenuous of a hike. Worth it!

This was a pretty relaxing trail. There were a lot of trees, and rocks. there were beautiful areas areas for rock climbing. The sand is a little hard to walk in, but overall this was a nice trail.

Awesome trail, love the transitions throughout the hike. So many bees at the end of it, don't think I've ever heard so many at the same time!

Flat trail but did some rock hopping at the end, past the trees. Really beautiful canyon to explore. Kept a solid pace and took about 3 hours total which includes rock hopping at the end. It’s a good trail if you’re looking for a overall jtree experience.

Three hours out and back, gorgeous rock formations with a little shade and very lush though hot. A lot of sand to walk, and the willows at the end are FULL of bees so beware. I didn't see water but other times of year maybe.

Amazing hike! The hike is about 3.5 miles long. This was my favorite trail that I hiked at Joshua Tree. You walk through a trail surrounded by Joshua Trees for about 2.5 miles before arriving at the rock formations. The last mile of the trail you are surrounded by many rock formations. Many of the rock formations were easy to climb and plenty of great places to take pictures. The trail offers a little bit of everything.

Despite being an out-and-back, the scenery felt different both ways and made for a super enjoyable, classic Joshua Tree hike! Very flat and easy, although the 1st half is completely unshaded and the 2nd half is through heavy sand. At the end, bees were busy in the trees but was nice to scramble up some rocks for a view. A bit busy on Saturday morning, with park spots in short supply (a lot of multi-day hikers use the lot as a base).

A fantastic walk in the morning as the sun comes up. Last mile to the willows is fairly thick sand so be prepared. And the bees are thick in the willows so if that is a concern, don't enter!

7.5 miles Parking is super easy and not that crowded and the trail is really nice and is not uphill, the last 0.25 miles is all in sand which made it harder but we ended up in this little pocket of lush greenery. If you want a solid day trip up from the SoCal area definitely worth it. It was cool and breezy the day we went but I could imagine it gets hotter during later in the day started at 8:30 and not that hot out.

We hiked this in January of last year after some heavy rains and really enjoyed trekking through streams of cold water. The vegetation changes as the hike progresses and some of it is tall enough to offer some sparse and infrequent shade. Can you find the couch rock? We did. The end sported a small body of water and off to the left a bit, a very small waterfall.

A very beautiful trail with great sights and rocks! Be careful it's easy to lose the trail, sometimes it's washed out by the floods. Overall good hike! Bring plenty of water!
