I have been up to Mt. San Jacinto summit via different trails, including the C2C, more than half a dozen times. I enjoyed each and every hike there. The loop hike offers a different perspective for hiking the mountain. You get to see the remnants of the 2013 Mountain Fire which closed Willow Creek Trail. The trail reopened in the end of 2017.
