Description
Waypoints (0)

A nice two-mile loop with a beautiful rock garden, ponds, and sports fields, and right next to Zoo and Fairytale Town. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved and typically at least eight feet wide. This route is shared with cars, although there are sidewalks around some of the ponds that are not. The grade is gentle (all estimated 3% or less) so most wheelchair/mobility equipment or stroller users will likely find this trail navigable.

This “trail” is better suited for novice runners and walkers. That being said however, this a great place to start you workout journey alone or with friends and family!

HikingGreat!

The trail is heavily trafficked, flat and wide not what I would consider a hike but a nice walk.

Walking

Just my cup of tea. The trail consisted of: an easy to follow, wide trail, green landscapes, historic homes, picnic tables, ducks and squirrels, and several scenic varieties. I highly recommend this trail. Its the best one yet!

It's a great community trail. Inside the walk boundaries is the park which has a small pond, picnic areas, 9-hole golf course, Fairy Town and Sac Zoo. Trail is mostly packed dirt and flat.

Walking

This is a well used trail around and through a city park. The trail itself is hard packed dirt/dried mud with sand/gravel on it that makes your feet slip at times as you are walking. Other parts of it are paved city sidewalks. There are really no inclines. It is pretty flat.

A beautiful park, but no walkways. I enjoy the peace pond, but unless you walk in the dirt perimeter you have to walk on busy streets.

Nice park with a golf course close. Especially green this time of the year. Phone and app didn't like this one... I played the course a couple of times years ago...

A near-weekly route and it’s always fantastic urban trail running. Completely flat. Safe. Meander through lovely old neighborhoods to add some miles. As other posters have said, there are several areas of the park. They are all worth exploring.
