This starts at the parking lot from there you head to Santa Rosa Trail which is a out and back about 2 miles total. From that point you head to Paradise Falls then do a complete loop to Lizard Rock then Wildwood Mesa then back to parking lot..

Nice hike. Lots of people on the way out, hey there early to avoid the crowds

This is open now. Park signs warn to still observe 6 ft and wear masks when passing others but many didn’t. Lots of large family groups, no masks, no 6 ft.

This hike will take you through several creek crossings (there are boards to walk over) after you hit Paradise Falls. From that point you will start your incline (very doable) to Lizard Rock. There are two benches you can stop at if you need to take a break. After Lizard Rock (which is a awesome spot for pics) it's all downhill from there....The parking lot is very spacious and this area has several trails that are both kid and dog friendly.

Great views and great trails

Loved this trail. It is moderate but good for all levels. View at the top is great toward Camarillo. Steep near the rock but not too difficult. Trail is all exposed so wear a hat and bring water. Also easy to get to Paradise Falls and return that way. Trail is well marked with signs.

Took my family and we enjoyed it. I would rate it as a moderate hike. We did 2 hours as I has to carry my 3 year old son on the way back.

Fun trail, bugs if you go late in the day.

Nice trail and fun for the kids with some river crossings, Paradise Falls, and the Tee Pee. A little challenging with a BOB stroller as you ascend to Lizard Rock going CW but a good workout overall. Some nice shaded areas when your are down by the stream but as you approach Lizard Rock there isn’t much shade. Enjoy!

Great trail! We did it clockwise after going all the way up to Lizard Rock and realizing we had gone the wrong way (my error). It was steep from the water treatment plant to Lizard Rock but a welcome challenge. Great work out for an old dude and dudette. Plan on doing it CCW (correctly) next time!

Great trail with lots of options from flat to rocky with switch backs. Took the family...beautiful scenery with clear trail markers. We opted for the switch backs down by the water treatment facility and up to lizard rock making it 5.4 miles round trip. Great workout.

Waterfall still flowing. Beautiful. At the bottom of the stairs at the fall, take a right away from the fall. 50-100 ft down along the creek are a couple of doable crossings then to can turn left back toward the fall for the best view. Def worth it.

Fun little park and area. Several different trails that are easy to moderate. One can make their trip as short or as long as they want. Not a ton of elevation gain.

This is my local workout trail. Wildwood is a magical place, especially after the rains. We hike up Stagecoach Bluff to Mesa to Lizard and down the back side and out. It’s a decent workout. No shade, lots of mustard right now. Nice for a quick hike.
