Excellent trail close to home. Many options to choose from. Some fire roads, some switchbacks, double and single track paths. Excellent views of the valley from the peaks. Excellent for dogs too. Not to crowded or heavily trafficked.

Confusing at first as there are a lot of trails but met someone who told us when you get to the fork go right then make a quick left. Once you get to the top there is a heart shaped pile of rocks. You can see I5 down below. I am sure you can continue but the fires in 2015 have closed a lot of the trails further down towards the I5.

I did not expect much from this trail being in the middle of such a developed area, but after a series of switchbacks you pass thru a small cut and find yourself in a secluded little valley. Several trails, lots of options, and lots to see. This place is great to go find some solitude without having to travel very far.

Nice empty trail with a consistent incline for a great cardio workout.
