I can't believe this is classified as a Moderate trail, it's short but hard, with steep climbs.
Better go down slow too, slippery and if you make one bad mistake you could get hurt pretty bad or worse.
Saw lots of empty water bottles, wish I had a bag to pick them all up, never will understand how people can consciously throw their trash on the ground and feel ok with it.
Nice views.

Great hike that is somewhat technical so requires concentration while on ridges, climbing up the steep sections, and coming down those same steep sections. I was glad to have poles for the trek down! The swings on the tree at the top make for a nice, shady break before turning back and the views from up there are awesome (but Rocky Peak still my fave for Simi view).

Would rate it as difficult. Take your time so you don't fall.

Short fun hike. It's a fast climb in the beginning. Great workout. Take your time. Best views of Simi from the top! See our video.

The hike up is super steep and full of dirt so be prepared to get dirty! The climb up right before you get to the top is a literal rock climb, but isn't that bad. Once you get to the top, you can continue along the trail and there are two swings under a tree. THIS PART MAKES THE WHOLE HIKE WORTH IT! 10/10 would recommend!

Also:
-Hiking down is easier than the hike up, so don't be too worried once you reach the top
-There are tons of beetles at night, so be aware!

Great hike. Gets your adrenaline pumping. I had a little anxiety on the climb up. It's steep and slippery. Just don't panic and you'll be fine. Go all the way to the top where the trees are; there is a swing:) It isn't as bad on the way down. I slid on my butt. No shame in that! Take your time and go slow. Bring good hiking shoes and water.
