Very difficult on the way down. Not as bad going up. Beautiful.

White Wolf was closed, so we parked on the main road in a pull over. Hiked a mile down the entrance to White Wolf and then off the Pate Valley. The path starts off rolling over high ridges then plunges 3500 feet (8k-4500 ft) to the Canyon floor. Hike a little along the Tuolumne River to a pair of foot bridges (second one washed out 80%) to camp on other side of the river. Had to head back the same route the next day but with 3 days I recommend pressing on through Glenn Aulin.
